Students were taught how to still their bodies and minds by being quiet in Anjali mudra, Vrikishasan (tree pose), Natarajasana (dancer's/ flamingo pose), Uttanasana (standing forward bend), and Shavasana (corpse pose). Homework is to practice the poses and asanas at home, know the benifits of each pose, and be able to perform each asana in front of the class. |
