Warm-ups: We practiced ankle/knee/hip rotations and shoulder circles/Windmill Arms for 5-10 minutes. These exercises loosen the major joint areas and prepare your body to practice asanas safely. Also, we practiced “Cat” and “Cow” poses to warm up the spine.

Asanas: We practiced the following asanas in class.

Prasarita Padottanasana-  Wide-Legged Forward Bend

Adho Mukha Svanasana- Downward facing dog

Veerabhadrasana – Warrior Pose

Trikonasana – Triangle Pose

Ananda Balasana - Happy Child Pose

Savasana – Corpse Pose
