Warm ups – After rigourous warm-ups, we did a couple of exercises to become aware of our breath and our thoughts.Talked about importance of breathing and ensuring oxygen reaches all parts of our body.  We also did an exercise in listening, by closing our eyes and listening to the farthest sound.

Asanas – Today we started the second phase of our curriculum that of Seated, Supine and Twist poses.  The following poses were practiced in class

Padmasana – Lotus Pose ( many kids did Lolasana as well)

Baddha Konasana - Butterfly Pose and variations
